Today, a regular online coordination meeting was held on which the following persons were present: the President of SSM, Darko Dimovski, Deputy President of the Government in charge of Economic Affairs, Mila Carovska, representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the President of the Inspection Council, the Directors of all Inspectorates, and representatives from the civil society organizations "Glasen Tekstilec", "Helsinki Committee for Human Rights", "HERA", "Platform for Fighting Poverty" and "Network Against Violence Against Women". The focus of the online meeting was the current situation with COVID-19 in the textile factories in Stip, respecting the protocols for protection and workers' rights, as well as sharing information on the implementation of the measure of financial support for payment of salaries. These regular meetings between trade unions, civil society organizations and inspectorates are essential because they strengthen the cooperation and contribute to more effective implementation of field measures.
