Meeting with usaid and discussion on the local economic and social councils

Both sides with agenda for development of local resources

Dr. Ian Karlovitz, director of Project Youth Network for acquiring skills for employment and Marija Ignjatova – Gosev, representative of USAID, met today with President of CCM Zivko Mitrevski and CCM General Secretary Angjelko Angjelkovski.

Subject of the conversation was the project managed by USAID under the stimulation of employment, especially among youth. It was discussed the expanding of the network of Local economic and social councils in Strumica, Bitola and Tetovo within this project.

During the meeting CCM experiences were discussed on formation and functioning of Economic and social councils at local level and on project run by CCM and the ILO about the establishment of Economic and social councils in Prilep, Resen and Krusevo. Another topic of the meeting was the Treaty for establishment of Economic and Social Council in Strumica.
