In the period from Thursday (July 29, 2021) to Sunday (August 1, 2021), according to information from the Hydrometeorological Unit of the Republic of North Macedonia, our country shall be affected by enourmously high temperatures.
During this period, the State Labor Inspectorate will perform intensified inspections and controls of the employers operating in open space especially in the sectors of the construction, agriculture, outdoor trade, transport, etc., as well as the employers whose operations include indoor operation and exposure of workers to heat radiation.
According to the Law on Occupational Safety and Health at Work, the employer is obliged to provide appropriate working conditions that will not endanger the life and health of workers.
