During yesterday, information was placed in the public that most of the caterers today deregistered the workers, to which, we as a union, strongly react.
Employers in the catering sector should not manipulate workers in this sector, and we advise workers not to sign any blank papers that employers will further abuse to cancel their employment contracts.
We point out that this is against the law and a collective agreement if the workers had employment contracts to be unregistered one day before the start of the measures that restrict work in this sector.
It is not possible yesterday and today to end the validity of employment contracts to all workers.
For such announcements, the Union of SUTKOZ together with SSM will file charges to all competent inspection services, as well as criminal charges in order to prevent such abuses.
We encourage workers to report all violations of their labor rights to SUTKOZ and SSM so that we can intervene in a timely manner and save their jobs.
