SALARIES IN THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE AND ARMY ARE INCREASING

Union of Defense and Security - SOB member of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia for SOB members and other members of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of the Republic of Macedonia with the work it has invested in the past two years has achieved significant results that have been implemented in the amendments and additions to the "Law for the Service of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia" which was voted unanimously by the deputies from the government and the opposition, with which many benefits are arranged for all categories of employees in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, i.e. benefits for members of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia.

Increasing the salaries of active military and civilian personnel by over 2000 denars;

Acquiring the right to a pension after completing 40 years of service, that is, 38 years for women, regardless of age;

A new calculation for active military and civilian personnel who acquired the right to a pension from the day the Army was established, in the amount of 80% of the most favorable 10 years of pensionable service;

Possibility of payment of severance pay for professional soldiers who have reached 45 years of age in the amount of two average salaries, but not less than 1000 euros for each year spent in service;

Professional soldiers acquire the right to payment of rent from the moment of concluding the first employment contract in the Army;

For active military and civilian personnel, sick leave payment is provided in the amount of 100% of the basic salary and salary supplements;

Favorable conditions are being introduced for scholarships for young and promising personnel from critical specialties for the Army;

The area of ​​professionalism, impartiality and legality in the performance of duties in the Army and in the Ministry of Defense is regulated in a politically neutral manner.
