Seminar on labor laws application

The meeting was opened by the President of SSM Mr. Zivko Mitrevski

On 19 and 20 March in Skopje a seminar on the issues in the application of labour laws and judicial practice was held. The seminar was held with the support of "FriedrichEbert Foundation" while participants were secretaries and coordinators of the regional units and legal representatives of SSM.

The Judge Gorgi Hristovski of Basic Court - Bitola had lecture on the topic "The Application of the Labour Law - Employment Contract, Annex and and organization," while the judge Petkana Jadrovska of the Appeal Court in Bitola spoke about the "Dismissal from employment by negligence and personal causes of employee "and "Dismissal from employment due to business reasons."

During the seminar the trade unionists have been advised about the application of other regulations and changes in the Labour legislation, the harmonization of the collective agreements with the Labour Law and the Law on minimum wage, the Law on public servants, the Civil Service Law and other issues.
