After the Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi committed a criminal offense under Article 166 of the Criminal Code because he knowingly did not comply with the law on wages and salary allowances and thereby injured, deprived, or limited a right belonging to the employee and did not increase them the salaries of the employees of the Ministry of Finance, even though it has a legal obligation to do so, the Government, in an attempt to save it, adopted a draft Law on amending and supplementing the Law on Budgets, which, fortunately for the workers, was not passed in the parliamentary procedure, so the ruling majority is now looking for its "loyal" Members of Parliament who today at the Legislative and Legal Commission should commit a crime under Article 166 and amnesty the Minister and his choice to disobey the law and they should get stuck and commit a crime by interpreting Article 66, paragraph 3 of the Law for budgets at the request of the Minister of Finance Besimi.
Such shameful discrimination against employees in the most important government institution has not been seen in the implementation of the law and the functioning of the rule of law, so we ask whether the Government representatives who only a month ago were praising and bragging about such a good legal solution that means valuing employees, now they disparage and discriminate against their employees, so if they change their attitude from today to tomorrow about the salaries of the workers, which are their right established in accordance with the Law, what else do they change their attitude about and who is entrusted with the state treasury at their disposal and does this mean that certain ministers are above the law, and certain MPs are nothing more than supporters of such policies of certain ministers.
In the following days, the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia will file a criminal complaint against the Minister of Finance, Fatmir Besimi, and against all those involved who do not want to respect the law that they brought themselves and are remorseful, to the detriment of the workers.
