As they announced at today's press conference in the Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia, in the annex, the correction of the coefficients of the employees in the health sector with different amounts is requested, which, according to the Council, would mean a certain positive movement.
- Until this moment, despite our concessions and with those certain lower amounts of gross correction of the coefficients, which at this moment are lower than what would mean a gross correction of the minimum wage of 3,317 denars, we still have not even signed the annex of the Collective agreement, nor do we have a certain knowledge when it will happen, said President Ljubisa Karanfilovski.
We expect to present to us what they agreed to by Wednesday at the latest, if this does not happen, on Thursday at 11:55 we invite all members of the Union and all employees in the health sector, who will not be involved in the work process of that day, to be present at the protest, to express our displeasure for the frivolous approach to a serious issue, said Karanfilovski.
In relation to the question about the statement of Vice Prime Minister Fatmir Bitici that there will be no money for healthcare, Karanfilovski said that this was precisely why the decision to protest was made and that after the protest, if they do not have positive signals, as he announced, "they will apply other extreme measures." ".
