The employment contract is the legal basis for establishing an employment relationship. It is a formal contract concluded in writing. It is kept in the working premises of the employer's headquarters and a copy of it is handed to the employee on the day of signing.
The employment contract contains the mutual rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both contracting parties. The established rights, obligations, and responsibilities are in accordance with those established in the Law on Labor Relations and in the collective agreements.
The employment contract cannot contain provisions that give the employee rights and obligations that are less favorable than those established by law or collective agreement.
