Caption 1. Start of negotiations between CCM and ORM for the GCA for the private sector
The working groups of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and the Organization of Employers of Macedonia, as representative social partners, on 20.7.2017 held the first scheduled meeting related to the extension of the General Collective Agreement for the private sector in the premises of CCM.
Both parties, led by the President of CCM, PhD Zhivko Mitrevski and the President of OEM, Angel Dimitrov, presented their views and opinions regarding the continuation of the CGA for the private sector and discussed the announced reforms in the labor legislation, which can affect the concept of the GCA for the private sector.
The working meeting also discussed the need for appropriate terminological adjustments in the text. The positions of CCM and OEM have been agreed to be presented to the appropriate bodies of both organizations and afterwards additional meetings to be scheduled.
