Today, the president of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, Darko Dimovski, and the president of AGRO Syndicate, Igor Kitanoski, with the trade union subsidiary of AGRO Syndicate at AD Vodostopanstvo held a meeting due to the non-payment of 2 salaries to the employees of AD Vodostopanstvo.
The employees complained that in addition to 2 unpaid salaries, since August 1 they do not even have health insurance.
The revolt among the workers is great and if the wages are not paid, it may turn into a strike in the near future, which will also mean a problem with the water supply of agricultural lands and crops, especially in this period when it is most needed.
The workers are forced to fight for their livelihood instead of doing their job, and in the coming period, the possibility is not ruled out that a Decision will be made to start a procedure for conducting a strike in JSC Vodostopanstvo, and before carrying out the procedures for organizing the strike, no other pressure to express worker dissatisfaction is excluded.
In addition to unpaid wages, the workers also face other organizational problems related to the normal and smooth operation of AD Waterworks, for which a solution will be sought from the Government, which is the sole shareholder of the Joint Stock Company Waterworks.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and the AGRO Union are at the disposal of the workers to implement all measures and organize the possible strike.
