SUTKOZ AT A MEETING WITH THE ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE EMPLOYEES IN BEG

Today, on-demand of SUTKOZ and trade union organizations of Balkan Energy Group, together with the president of SSM, Darko Dimovski, and the presidents of trade union organizations Nenad Rashovic and Kosta Ristevski, on the premises of Energy Regulatory Commission was held a meeting with the presidents of ERC Marko Bislimovski.

RKE, as the only authority in charge of issuing a license for production, distribution, and supply of thermal energy on the one hand, and the employees' union, on the other hand, reviewed the new situation in the energy sector with the licenses revoked by BEG.

It was concluded that in order to ensure reliable distribution of thermal energy in the central heating system, it is necessary for the new licensee to take on employees who are professional, expert, and with many years of experience in the energy sector, that is, there should be no termination in the employment relationship. At the same time, guided by the economic crisis, it is the obligation of the institutions to take care of the basic rights of their citizens, not to cut salaries, taking into account when signing new contracts, the work experience, and the appropriate education of the employees.

At the same time, the president of SUTKOZ and SSM took advantage of the meeting and asked the president of the Energy Regulatory Commission to intervene with subsidies in the sectors of hospitality, tourism, service activities, communal activities, craftsmen and protective workshops, and wherever SSM has a membership to overcome of price shocks from an increase in electricity for livelihood and preservation of workers' jobs.
