TRAINING OF SUTKOZ ON WAGE INCREASE IN PUBLIC UTILITIES ACCORDING TO THE GENERAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC SECTOR

The Trade Union of Workers in the Catering, Tourism, Communal-Housing Economy, Crafts and Protective Societies of Macedonia (SUTKOZ) started with the realization of professional - specialized training on the topic: "APPLICATION OF OKD FOR THE PUBLIC SECTOR, STRIKE PROCEDURE AND OSH LAW".

At the first training, the members of the Presidency of SUTKOZ, and members of the bodies of the Trade Union Organizations of SUTKOZ in Public Utilities had the opportunity to be informed about the application of the General Collective Agreement for the public sector for the implementation of the new methodology (average salary by complexity coefficient) for salary increases from March 2025 with the growth of the average salary, they received examples of salary calculation according to the OKD for the Public Sector, they received information about the strike procedure in the PUC, as well as they were informed about the need to apply the Law on Safety and Health when working in Public Utilities.

At the training, in addition to the President of SUTKOZ Stojance Kashikovski, the President of SSM Slobodan Trendafilov was also a guest and the speaker was lawyer Sashko Panchev.

In the coming days, SUTKOZ is conducting training in 6 cities (Gostivar, Prilep, Ohrid, Delchevo, Kumanovo and Strumica) where the trade unionists will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the activities that they need to negotiate for increasing the salaries of the workers in the public utility companies.
