TRAVEL COSTS FOR WORKERS AND INCREASE IN THE MINIMUM WAGE TOPIC OF THE MEETING WITH MP Dimitar Apasiev, President of the Standing Inquiry Committee for the Protection of Citizens' Freedoms and Rights, at his invitation

The President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, Slobodan Trendafilov, accompanied by the President of SGIP and Vice President of SSM for the Private Sector, Ivan Peshevski, and the President of the AGRO Trade Union, Igor Kitanoski, met with MP Dimitar Apasiev, as President of the Permanent Inquiry Commission for the Protection of Citizens' Freedoms and Rights, at his invitation.

The meeting discussed the possibilities for improving the rights and standards of workers and also discussed possible interventions in laws covering this area.

At the same time, opinions were exchanged on the Law on Labor Relations to provide for the payment of travel expenses for workers, as well as the need to increase the minimum wage.

The Confederation of Trade Unions of Macedonia will continue to convey the demands of workers with increased dynamics in the coming period.
