The International Labor Organization and the Economic and Social Council organized a tripartite meeting in which the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, Slobodan Trendafilov, the President of the SGIP, Ivan Peshevski, and Lile Petrova, Chief of Staff, participated.
The tripartite meeting's purpose was to present international labour standards regarding freedom of association and discuss the International Labour Organization's technical comments on the draft chapters of the Law on Labour Relations relating to social partners, collective bargaining, and strikes.
The event was moderated by Emil Krstanovski, ILO National Coordinator, Lejo Sibel, ILO Senior Specialist for Social Dialogue, Labour Law and International Labour Standards, ILO Budapest and Vida Amirmokri, Labour Law Specialist, ILO Geneva, and addressed by Prof. Dr. Lazar Jovevski.
