Outraged because the existence of these employees here is in question, who cannot exercise their only legal rights from employment, i.e. irregular payment of salary, non-payment of the full amount of annual leave allowance for 2023, non-payment of annual leave allowance for 2024, despite the fact that I, Darko Gotsevski, as the president of the SO of SUTKOZ at the PUC Bregalnica-Delchevo, and the president of SUTKOZ, Mr. Stojanche Kashikoski, have continuously requested that the director Stojche Stojkovski ensure that the obligations to the employees are regularly serviced. We submitted a request to cover the losses of the Public Enterprise to the Mayor and the Council of the Municipality of Delčevo, but we encountered disinterest and an express response from the Mayor, Mr. Goran Trajkovski, which clearly showed the lack of care for the workers from whom he expects maximum daily engagement for the municipality to be clean, tidy and regularly supplied with drinking water. To make the absurdity even greater, the same Mayor buys a Christmas tree for the New Year's decoration of the city worth around 20,000 euros. While he pompously boasts about this overpriced Christmas tree, the employees of the Public Enterprise Bregalnica wonder how they will spend the New Year's holidays without a salary.
SUTKOZ as the only representative union in the communal services has been and will remain the protector of workers' rights and therefore we publicly demand from the mayor, Mr. Goran Trajkovski,
-Regular payment of salaries to employees in order not to put their existence in question and endanger their health due to the lack of health insurance,
-To stop the destructive policy towards PUC Bregalnica and to start regularly servicing the obligations towards the company,
-We demand that at the next council session an item be put on the agenda for financial assistance to PUC Bregalnica Delchevo from the Municipality of Delchevo as its founder, which is why it has a legal obligation to do so,
-We demand the immediate dismissal of the director of PUC Bregalnica because his unethical work has brought the company into such a difficult situation.
If our requests are not accepted as soon as possible, SUTKOZ will take all possible legal measures to fulfill employment rights, i.e. the employees will go on a general strike and criminal liability will be sought from the competent institutions for the management structure of the company.
