WARNING STRIKE OF EMPLOYEES IN MACEDONIAN POSTS

The trade union of Macedonian Post and the Union of AD Post of North Macedonia, with the help of SSM, are organizing warning work stoppages from today, which will take place during the break for a duration of half an hour, all with the aim of not harming the users of their services, but if they don't get paid, they announce a protest before the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.

It will be held next Saturday, October 29. The goal is for the employees to fight for receiving the delayed salary.

The legal obligation to receive salary is until the 15th of the current month, but until this moment Macedonian Post has not provided enough funds to release salaries to employees.

In the past period, the unions fought together to harmonize the salaries of the employees, but apparently, the weak management of the company again led to a state of uncertainty for the workers and their families, and in the past period, due to their unity, an attempt was made to exert pressure on the unions to undermine their positions so that management can more easily manipulate, reduce wages and fire workers.

SSM will not allow attacks on unions and union leaders in Macedonian Post Office.
