WE SUGGESTED A 2.800 MKD WAGE INCREASE FOR EVERYONE, FROM HYGIENIST TO DIRECTOR

The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia as the only representative trade union on the territory in the public and private sector submits open concrete proposals for increasing the salaries of public and private sector workers in accordance with the increase of the minimum wage, in order to find a sustainable model for workers' wages to increase immediately,  and at the same time, it should not be a serious obstacle for the normal operation of institutions, enterprises, and companies.

The proposal of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia which seeks  an increase in wages for all workers is aimed at:

- The NET core  salary of the employees in the state and local government institutions  and other state institutions  established in accordance with the Constitution – and institutions performing activities in the fields of education, science, health, culture, labor, social  and child protection, sports, army, police as well as in other activities of public interest determined by the law, and organized as agencies, funds, public institutions and public enterprises established by the Republic of North Macedonia or by the municipalities, from the city of Skopje, as well as the municipalities in the city of Skopje (ALTERNATIVE: in the Public Sector provided by the Budget of the Republic of North Macedonia, the budget of the municipalities, the City of Skopje and the municipalities of the City of Skopje, the court budget and other sources of funds determined by the  law of state authorities and other state bodies, bodies of local self-government units, institutions, public enterprises, institutes, agencies, funds and other legal entities that perform activities of public interest) each year to comply with the amount of the minimum wage increase.

-The NET core  salary of the employees in the state and local government institutions  and other state institutions  established in accordance with the Constitution – and institutions performing activities in the fields of education, science, health, culture, labor, social  and child protection, sports, army, police as well as in other activities of public interest determined by the law, and organized as agencies, funds, public institutions and public enterprises established by the Republic of North Macedonia or by the municipalities, from the city of Skopje, as well as the municipalities in the city of Skopje (ALTERNATIVE: in the Public Sector provided by the Budget of the Republic of North Macedonia, the budget of the municipalities, the City of Skopje and the municipalities of the City of Skopje, the court budget and other sources of funds determined by the  law of state authorities and other state bodies, bodies of local self-government units, institutions, public enterprises, institutes, agencies, funds and other legal entities that perform activities of public interest)  increases the minimum in the net amount by  2,800 MKD calculated with the payment for May 2022 due to the harmonization of the salaries of the employees in the public sector in accordance with the increase of the minimum wage published in Official Gazette no. 41 of February 24, 2022, unless by Collective Agreement is not arranged more favorably.

- For the employees for whom the harmonization with the increase of the minimum wage has already been done, published in Official Gazette no. 41 from February 24, 2022, in the amount of at least 2,800MKD, the above should be considered completed.

Those changes as fast can be implemented only with the signing of Collective Agreements for the Public Sector, and the Federation of Trade Units of Macedonia will apply the same model with the Organisation of Employees of Macedonia in the General Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Private Sector in the field of Economy.
