Become a part of the union and make a significant change.

WE WILL SAY ON THE STREET THAT SALARIES MUST INCREASE

The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, by Decision of the Presidency of the CSM of 28.03.2025, on 02.04.2025 (Wednesday), in order to express public opinion for the purpose of realizing social and economic interests for the protection of workers' rights and the right to freedom of association and trade union organization, organizes a public session of the bodies and organs of the CSM and the bodies and organs of the trade unions affiliated with the CSM, which will start in front of the Workers' House (CSM building) with headquarters at 12 Makedonska udarna brigada no.2-a, Skopje (new Mirce Acev no.6) at 12.05.

The members, organs and bodies of the trade unions and workers who will participate in the public session that will begin in front of the Workers' House will continue to the Parliament, the Chamber of Commerce and the Government where the session will continue, from which messages will be sent:

1. THERE CANNOT BE FOR THE MPS BUT NOT FOR THE WORKERS!

The MPs in the Parliament elected by the workers should propose and vote on the proposal of the CSM for an additional increase in the minimum wage by 6,000 denars, as well as an increase in all other salaries in the private sector with the increase in the minimum wage.

Not to vote on laws that reduce workers' rights to the detriment of workers, just as they do not vote on laws that reduce their privileges.

2. THE WORKER'S OUTREACHED HAND TODAY CAN EASILY BECOME A CLOSE FIST TOMORROW!

The bosses of the Chamber of Commerce should accept the workers' offer to increase wages in order to retain qualified workers in Macedonia because at least 15,000 workers and citizens leave Macedonia every year, so if wages are not increased, they will be the main culprit for the exodus of workers from Macedonia.

3. DECISIONS CANNOT BE MADE FOR US WITHOUT US!

The government should stand on the side of the workers, stop making unilateral decisions to the detriment of workers, respect social dialogue and stop attacks on unions and attempts to silence workers.

The government, as the largest employer, should increase the wages of public sector employees in accordance with the General Collective Agreement for the Public Sector, sectoral collective agreements, and employer-level collective agreements, and align them with the minimum wage in accordance with special laws.
