WORKERS AT PRILEP TERMINAL ARE ON STRIKE

The President of SSM Slobodan Trendafilov and the President of SUTKOZ Stojanche Kashikovski were today at the strike of the employees of Terminal DOOEL Prilep due to 7 unpaid salaries.

The employees of Terminal DOOEL Prilep, established by the PUC Komunalets Prilep under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Prilep, have been left without a denar of salary and without health insurance for 7 months.

The workers have held several protests and two warning strikes in the past period, after which they decided to activate the Decision for a strike and will not give up until the outstanding salaries are paid.

We call on the two deputy ministers, the four members of parliament from Prilep to immediately engage and solve this major problem of these 8 workers.

We call on the Mayor of the Municipality of Prilep and the management of the Public Utility Company Komunalets Prilep to immediately ensure the payment of salaries, which will enable the uninterrupted functioning of the Terminal, because if the problem is not resolved, additional problems will be caused with the forwarders and the uninterrupted functioning of the customs terminal.
