WORKERS TO RECEIVE ANNUAL LEAVE REGRESSION UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR

The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM) ensured the right to K-15 for all workers.

As a representative trade union in the public sector, last year 2023 it signed the General Collective Agreement for the public sector, with which after a long period of time, in addition to other rights, it secured the right to annual leave for all employees in the public sector.

In that sense, we remind you that this right should be provided to the workers until the end of the year, for which the Government decided at its last session that the entire public sector should pay annual leave benefits for employees, and employers need to respect it in its entirety.

At the same time, we also remind the employers in the private sector that by the end of the year they have to pay vacation pay for their employees, a right regulated by the General Collective Agreement for the private sector signed by the Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia as a representative union in the private sector.

The implementation of the General Collective Agreements for the private and public sectors signed by the SSM is mandatory.
