In the framework of the Project: Promotion of the social dialogue” organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the period from 12-15 May 2015 in the premises of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia 2 two-days workshops on collective bargaining of trade unions.
The workshop was opened by the President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, PhD Zhivko Mitrevski who emphasized the importance of the collective bargaining and social dialogue, as a special effort of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia. President Mitrevski pointed out on the need for such trainings of trade union leaders and members which will help in realization of workers’ rights.
Moderators on the workshop were Agnieshka Gineraru, ILO expert and Mr. Ovidiu Jurca, senior expert for workers activities, Office in Budapest who presented the aims, program and technical aspects of the training.
The workshops were divided in two sessions on which members of the Union of SRSVM were present on the first day, while the second day was attended by members of the Union of SRT and regional coordinators in CCM.
After this training the participants had knowledge and received information on the skills for collective bargaining, including negotiation techniques on different aspects of CA as well as improvement on the collective bargaining coordination on different levels, by application of current collective bargaining tools of ILO.
