The Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia, within the framework of the need to promote and strengthen the capacities for collective bargaining with the support of ITUC-PERK, UNION TO UNION in Kratovo organized a workshop dedicated to determining the priorities and proposals of the unions, and SSM for determining and supplementing text of the proposals for a new General Collective Agreement for the private sector of the economy, and the workshop discusses the existing text (good and bad provisions), positive examples arranged in branch collective agreements and collective agreements at the employer level.
The workshop was opened by the President of the SSM, Darko Dimovski, the presidents of the branch unions united in the Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia, the coordinator of the International Labor Organization in Macedonia, Emil Krstanovski, and the project coordinator of the ILO office in Skopje, Natasa Simjanoska, participated in it. as well as prof. Dr. Aleksandar Ristovski from the Faculty of Law.
Professor Aleksandar Ristovski presented the Analysis of collective bargaining in Macedonia, prepared with the support of the ILO, which the unions use in the processes of collective bargaining and negotiation.
At the end of the workshop, as a result, the text of a new General Collective Agreement for the private sector in the field of the economy was prepared and determined, which will be proposed to the Organization of Employers of Macedonia for negotiations and conclusion, and at the same time, several proposals for amendments and additions will be determined. of the existing General Collective Agreement for the private sector of the economy.
The SSM and the unions are establishing and strengthening their positions for the defense and preservation of collective agreements and the struggle for the conclusion of new collective agreements in the private sector and in the public sector!
