The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia in cooperation with the Center for Research and Policy Making on July 19, 2021 organized a training on capacity building of trade unions in the country.
The training was attended by representatives of CCM from the Branch Unions and the Regional Trade Union Offices.
Participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge of European policies in terms of industrial relations and models of active involvement of workers in the decision-making process.
The main topic was workers 'councils, with particular reference to the experiences of the European countries and the European Works Councils. Part of the training was dedicated to guidance, advice and recommendations on how to fully apply the existing ways of informing and consulting employees and how to create opportunities for their active participation in the management of the company, starting from the current legal framework.
Lecturers were PhD Lazar Jovevski and Slobodan Trendafilov.
