Until you report, holiday work will be abused.
Holiday work is paid a total of 250% per hour spent at work.
Holiday work is a labor right that employers violate the most and workers report the least.
A few examples of calculations if a worker works on a holiday and receives a salary in the amount of the minimum wage:
Minimum wage for August 2021. is 15.194 MKD
691 MKD per diem from m.p.
1,728.00 MKD per diem for work on a holiday
Average salary for May 2021 is MKD 28.271 MKD
1.306 MKD per diem from the average salary
3.265 MKD per diem for work on a holiday
Minimum trade union basket 34.212 MKD
1.555 MKD per diem
3.888 MKD per diem for work on a holiday
If you have worked on a holiday and have not been paid at least the amount stated in the examples, then the employer has violated both the law and the collective agreement
