Today an online meeting of the ITUC-PERC Youth Committee was held, where the Youth Section of CCM is a member.
At the meeting, the YC members presented the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in the member states, with a special emphasis on the position of young people and the challenges they face.
Once again it was emphasised that young people are one of the most vulnerable group who have suffered a huge number of job losts in the past period. As such they need specail protection and participation in the creation of youth related policies through an inclusive social dialogue.
